Five star campsite, good size pitches and hard standing. Excellent toilets and showers. Extremely helpful staff nothing is too much trouble. Good nearby pubs within walking distance down country lanes. Loved The Richmond Arms and the pizza van. Really good site to access Brighton or Portsmouth as well as Chichester. We just wanted to let you know again how much we enjoyed our stay at your site.

RAISING THE BAR
Concierge Camping at Ratham Estate opened for business in April 2015. From its very first year, the campsite was awarded the AA South East Campsite of the Year and both a Premier Park and Best of British holiday park status. Continuous improvements and an obsessive attention to detail have now led to the prestigious AA ‘Campsite of the Year’ England and Overall Winner 2019.
The Ratham Estate is situated in West Ashling near Chichester – (see location map). Steeped in history, it’s mentioned in the Domesday Book and originates from the 15th century. A working farm until the 1990s, the estate has three Grade II listed properties on site which include a charming circular thatched chapel, the original water mill and farmhouse.
Current owners, Lord and Lady Hodgkin, purchased the estate in 2011 and are bringing it back to its former glory. In 2015 they created a luxury touring park on a large area of the estate.
OUR FACILITIES
You will find 27 spacious and fully serviced, hardstanding pitches tastefully landscaped into the rural surroundings available all year round.
Each generous pitch is framed with hedging for seclusion and privacy. We offer three sizes of fully-serviced pitch; with hard-standings of 8m x 6.5m suitable for smaller European style motorhomes and an awning, or 14m x 6m that can accommodate larger American Style RVs or Car / Caravans.
One awning or tent plus a single motorised, inhabitable vehicle per pitch is included in the price – all to be erected on the hardstanding only. Please call if in doubt!

These fabulous pitches have day living Safari tents on them; housing fridge/freezer, dishwasher, sink unit with granite worktops, dining area and log burning stove helping to keep you cozy and warm on cooler days. Since opening our gates in 2015 we have now become a multi award winning campsite. We have achieved several AA Gold 5 pennant awards for the Touring park and for our Glamping lodges. We can also now proudly boast that we are the AA England and Overall Campsite of the Year. Being voted the best campsite in Britain 2019 is a great honour for us and we are keen to show any first time visitors why the AA loved our site.

Are there ‘high’ and ‘low’ season prices? A
Our pricing varies throughout the year based on pitch size and demand, and isn't necessarily split seasonally. Popular weekends such as during Goodwood events have bespoke pricing and packages that are available on request. All our prices for the next 12 months are available to view on our booking calendar. All our prices are inclusive with no hidden extras. Q
Are the facilities open all year round? A
Yes, our heated washrooms and fire-pits allow us to remain open throughout the year. Our safari lodges have underfloor heating and our emperor pitches benefit from wood burning stoves helping to keep you cozy and warm on cooler days. Q
How far in advance can I book? A
Currently, our online booking system allows for reservations to be made up to 12 months in advance. If you would like to reserve a pitch beyond this time scale, please contact us at reception. Q
Are dogs allowed at the campsite? A
Yes. We're a dog friendly campsite.
We are always happy to see dogs at Concierge Camping, especially well-behaved dogs with waggly tails! We allow up to three dogs per pitch. There are numerous idyllic walks within a short distance, and also a footpath and dog walking area directly accessible from the campsite.
