Last updated 10th March 2021
We are excited to re-open next month – but currently we await confirmation from Government as to whether our shared shower/toilet facilities will be allowed to open. So please for those that do not have their own facilities to use on board, or for those that do not wish to use their own facilities; we would advise you to perhaps consider another date later in the year. Toilet & Shower facilities are due to open in stage 3 of the Road Map from the 17th May 2021. After this date our luxury facilities with complementary toiletries and piped music will be fully operational.
We ask you to please make these decisions sooner rather than later – as our terms and conditions state that should you cancel with less than 30 days notice prior to arrival, alas you will forfeit your deposit. If you prefer to now adjust your booking until things are clearer, you can opt for a voucher (which is valid for 2 years) or of course defer or cancel your stay with us.
Due to the challenges we are all facing in 2021 we are continuing to make some essential changes to operations of the business in line with government & industry recommendations. The safety of our staff and customers is of the upmost importance particularly during this pandemic. Your co-operation with the new procedures during these unprecedented times are crucial to maintain the smooth running of the park. This document highlights the current changes, and whilst we recognise that some of these changes may be less convenient, they are essential if we are to open this season and remain open. If you feel that you are unable to adhere to the changes then please contact us. Please bear with us during this challenging year, cleaning will be taking longer to keep everything safe and secure for not only our staff but for our guests also. Arrival and Departure times will be being changed as to allow for the extra safety measures we are taking to protect us all.
Check in times are now strictly between 2pm-7pm. We are unable to offer any late arrivals, late checkouts or early arrivals. Please do not arrive before 2pm or after 7pm as entry may not be possible.
Check in times for the Safari Lodges are between 4pm & 7pm. We are unable to offer early check in or late checkout, please advise us prior to arrival of your arrival time. Check out time strictly before 10am. Please note we will no longer be able to assist you with your luggage etc, however there will be a trolley located at your lodge for your personal use for the duration of your stay.
A few days before arrival you will be sent a digital brochure of the park, along with our new T’s & C’s and your pitch name and coloured number which will correspond with our park layout map. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate pitch change requests as we are now fully booked for the season. You can choose to pay before arrival over the phone on 01243 573118 or we have COVID-19 safety measures in place in our reception with screens and hand sanitising stations, the choice is yours.
We are very sorry but we are unable to allow any visitors to the park this year at any time.
We have in excess of 12 Hand sanitising stations throughout the park at all key locations.
Social distancing will apply at all times on the park. If you are holidaying with friends or family staying on other pitches please do not exceed the current government guidance.
If you have a shower, toilet and washing up facilities in your Motorhome or Caravan you strongly advise to use these for the safety of our staff, other guests and yourselves. This is also in accordance with government advice. Please also note we are maintaining a 2 metre gap inside our
facilities, NOT a 1 metre gap. Washing up facilities ONLY 1 pitch allowed in at any one time.
If you have any COVID-19 symptoms before you are due to arrive then please contact reception on 01243 573118 so we can cancel your booking and re-arrange it for another time. If at anytime you become unwell or believe you have been exposed to COVID-19 whilst on the park then you are to call NHS 111 and report it to a member of staff by phone at reception. You then need to make immediate arrangements to return home as soon as possible and remain in your environment on the park until you do so.
VisitBritain/VisitEngland has been working with the Cabinet Office and Department for Health on guidance for those planning a holiday and for holidaymakers who fall ill whilst on holiday in England.
This confirms:

Whilst on holiday:
Unfortunately, we have had to remove all leaflets due to government guidance. Please refer to our website www.conciergecamping.co.uk for local tourist attractions or search the internet.
Whilst we can help by putting in place procedures to help to keep us all safe this is not only our responsibility, and everyone has a part to play. Government guidance needs to be followed and consideration to all is essential.
Local communities in tourist areas have been reported as being very nervous regarding a sudden influx of people into their neighbourhoods. Please show consideration and understanding and come prepared with your provisions to avoid over-stretching local shops.
Our shop will be open and stocks essential provisions alongside ice creams, bbq meats, milk, alcohol, croissants and bread. We are maintaining a 2 metre radius between our guests in our shop.
Due to our current limitations of our operation please make sure essential hygiene items such as hand gel, gloves and sanitiser are brought with you. Please ensure you carry hand wipes or hand sanitiser for the duration of your stay. Please use these when on the park especially when touching keypads, door handles, garden gates etc.
The bar & coffee shop will be open with take away disposable drinkware, we ask you to be responsible for disposing of all your drinkware in the bins provided to prevent contamination to other guests and staff. The seating areas will be arranged to government guidelines and will sanitised daily. Please note you may also take your drinks away to drink on your own pitch, lodge etc.
We have put screens up in our shop, added hand sanitiser at all key locations, we have several fogging machines to sanitise, shower and toilet facilities, our Emperor pitches, Safari lodges and our reception building. And have implemented and even stricter cleaning regime.
Please note that this list is not exhaustive. Please be aware that things can change. If we need to speak to you at any point throughout your stay then it will be for everyone’s safety. If you see anyone acting inappropriately and acting out of the COVID-19 government guidelines you must report it to reception immediately, this is not snitching, this is for the safety of our staff, yourselves and other guests
The terms and conditions will need to be accepted by yourselves before your arrival to Concierge Camping. Any infringements of these could put our guests, staff and business at risk and you will be asked to leave immediately. NO refund will be available.
These are the procedures that we feel currently fit the requirements and running of the park. As the law evolves and hopefully the pandemic is brought under closer control this advice will be reviewed. We know that you are all itching to get away and many of you have changed your dates as you have had bookings cancelled, we would like to take this opportunity to say a BIG THANK YOU to those that have kept their booking with us and supported through these unprecedented times and we so look forward to welcoming you all back from the 4th July onwards.
We are also itching to be open and we are sure if we all work together to abide by these new rules then we can all expect smooth running and you can enjoy a lovely staycation here with us at Concierge Camping. We do not want to be COVID police and we really want you to enjoy your stay, so we hope you understand our reasons for implementing these rules.
