Five star campsite, good size pitches and hard standing. Excellent toilets and showers. Extremely helpful staff nothing is too much trouble. Good nearby pubs within walking distance down country lanes. Loved The Richmond Arms and the pizza van. Really good site to access Brighton or Portsmouth as well as Chichester. We just wanted to let you know again how much we enjoyed our stay at your site.

On the outside, the lodges resemble those you may find in Africa, surveying the plains and savannah of the Serengeti. Exposed timber frames support a hardy canvas exterior, with an outdoor sofa and picnic table furnishing the sun-kissed deck, complete with a meandering stream for company. Come glamping in West Sussex with us and while away the hours; sipping on a glass of wine while reading a book, having some old fashioned fun playing boardgames with the kids or cooking up a delicious feast on the charcoal barbecue.

Inside, you are greeted by the fresh aroma of pinewood. The underfloor heating and sumptuous corner sofa mean that regardless of whatever conditions are unleashed by the Great British weather, you will be warm, cosy and comfortable. The state-of-the-art range cooker and well appointed kitchen are perfect for rustling up delicious meals from local farm produce and meats. The campsite luxuries of a fridge, freezer and dishwasher are on-hand to lighten the load.

Where the magic truly begins to unfold is when you venture inside one of the bedrooms. Instantly, you are transported back to innocent days of childhood, complete with a soundtrack of cooing woodpigeons, a vista of cornfields from your canvas window, and where the most stressful decision to make is choosing between lemon bon bon’s and pear drops for your midnight feast. Adding a touch of contemporary luxury are the discreet Bluetooth speaker system in keeping with the hi-tech, low-vis vibe.

Our wooden safari lodges are situated in our meadow, over the stream and set-back from the main campsite.
Each lodge has its own outdoor seating and barbecue area to while away the evenings.
Inside your lodge you will find amble comfy seating for the whole family, fully equipped with flat-screen TVs.
Enjoy views of our stream and surrounding countryside from warm, underfloor-heated comfort.

Last, and certainly not least, is the coup de grace, the bathroom. Forget everything you thought you knew about camping toilets. This is most definitely boutique hotel bathroom suite, not fetid festival loo. The stunning overhead rain shower, complimentary Concierge toiletries and backlit-mirror equipped washstand give a sense of Nordic sauna meets Turkish hammam. Oh, and not forgetting that the fully plumbed-in loo is in here too, rather than half way down a neighbouring field. Glamping in West Sussex does not get better than this.
